My Story
Iโm a girl from the projects, born and raised in Chester, PA โ but donโt get it twisted, I came from a good home. I was one of six children, raised around love, lessons, and survival. I always knew I wanted more. Not because I wasnโt grateful, but because something in me kept saying, โYouโre supposed to build something bigger than what you see.โ
Since a jit, fashion was always part of my world. I wanted to be in the shows, on the runway, behind the scenes, styling the looks โ all of it. I was that girl who saw clothes as more than just outfits. To me, fashion was a feeling. It was confidence. It was identity. It was how you walked in a room and told your story without saying a word.
I even did a fashion show for my senior project, so this was never something I just woke up and decided to do. This been in me. This been part of my purpose.
In 2017, I started my brand and I never looked back. Was it easy? Not at all. I cried. I questioned myself. I wanted to give up more times than people will ever know. I had moments where I felt like everything was standing in my way, but somehow I kept going. My kids kept me going. God kept sending me signs when I needed them the most. Every time I felt like quitting, something reminded me that I was built for this.
Now Iโm a mother of four with a pure heart, a strong mind, and a story that canโt be copied. I overcame everything that tried to stop me. I turned pain into purpose, setbacks into lessons, and a dream into a brand.
SAKKSTYLES is more than clothing to me. Itโs my life, my faith, my children, my city, and every version of me that refused to quit.
I came from Chester. I came from the projects. I came from real life. And Iโm still becoming everything I prayed for
